How To Get Anyone To Do or Buy Anything

Business Growth Entrepreneur 7 min read

This is a dangerous post.

This post will give you the knowledge you need to control minds - and build a fan following of loyal customers...

The kind of customers who will do and buy whatever you ask them to...

And the best thing is, this isn't complicated. You don't need a mastery in psychology, or be a trained hypnotist to be able to do this.

And yes, there have been times when this secret has made you do things you wouldn't have otherwise done. But it's not your fault.

Like I said, this is very powerful and very dangerous.

Charismatic leaders, dictators, cult leaders, and professional marketers have been using this forever. But no one really wants to talk about it.

No one wants to share this with anyone.

After all, if people knew about this, they'd be on the look out.

So, it's time to knock those manipulators down a peg or two.

It's time to get even. To get back on the same level.

Time to stop being the underdog and to start fighting back.

If you want your business to grow, to start getting the customers you need, read on.

If you want to make sure you stop falling prey to unscrupulous sales people, hellbent on selling you something you don't need, read on...

Ready?

Ok...

Here's the secret for getting anyone to do anything for you:

"People will do anything if you:

- Support Their Dreams

- Allay Their Fears

- Confirm Their Suspicions

- Justify Previous Failures

- Cast Stones at Enemies"

Every charismatic cult leader does this.

Every extremist dictator does this.

Every successful marketer or copy writer does this.

Do you need examples?

How do you think Hitler turned Germany against the entire Jewish population?

He sold them a dream of a greater Germany. The Germany they used to have before World War I. The rose-tinted vision of a strong powerful Germany.

He convinced them he had a plan that would help them get there - that they didn't need to worry.

Did they suspect something was wrong? Did they think maybe there was some secret plan?

He convinced them there was something else to blame for the state Germany was in. It wasn't their fault. They were good, hardworking, German people who deserved better.

He told them it was the Jews' fault. He said it was their fault there weren't enough jobs. That it was their fault there was no prosperity.

He told them the Jews were to blame for everything.

And in a matter of months, normal people were turning against friends and neighbours. In a matter of months, his words had divided a nation.

His words made people turn a blind eye to one of the greatest atrocities in all our human history.

You see, this is dangerous!

For another example, take every Ponzi scheme going.

They all work on the same premise:

1. People want to improve their situation and make money fast, without having to work for it.

2. Show them they don't need to worry... "Look at all these previous clients and how much they've made in a matter of days of weeks!"

3. Confirm there are people out there trying to fool them into investing in fake schemes - but this isn't one of them.

4. Tell them it's not their fault they're in the situation they're in. The government, the banks, and the big businesses don't want them to know there's a better way.

5. Invest in this scheme and let's take down the big investment firms whose sole focus is to steal your money!

And day in, day out, people fall for this.

After all, it's very convincing.

Thankfully (or at least, hopefully) you don't want to start the next genocide, or sell the next Ponzi scheme.

You just want to show people what you have to offer is exactly what they need right now.

So, here's what you need to do:

1. Identify what your client's dream is.

If you're a personal trainer, it might be to get a six-pack, or to get a beach body so they look good in the summer. It may be they want to lose weight to become more successful on the dating scene. Or they want to be able to run around with their children.

If you're in investment banking, it may be they want financial security, so they never need to worry about money. Or they want their children to go through college without debt. Or perhaps they want a comfortable, easy retirement.

Whatever it is, focus on their specific dream in all your marketing messages.

2. Allay Their Fears:

Don't be afraid to point out they have fears and worries. These are right and absolutely normal.

For the personal trainer's client, your offer isn't a generic, on-size-fits-all plan. They won't go unsupported. They're not expected to get their diet right every single day.

For the investment banker's clients, investments do fail. There are bad investments out there, but you are there to help them. Their fear about losing money is more than justified, but with you they don't need to worry.

3. Confirm Their Suspicions:

Do they suspect there's some sort of scam? Do they suspect there's a secret conspiracy? Confirm this.

So the PT's clients might want to hear that the big food companies don't want them to lose weight. They might want to hear that the big chain gyms don't want them to succeed because they want them to keep coming back.

Investment banker clients might suspect the banks are taking a larger cut than they need. Or that other investment services are taking a cut of their well earned returns.

Confirm these fears as this allows you to do the next two steps...

4. Justify Previous Failures

"It's not your fault you've not been able to lose weight:

- The Big Food Companies want you to keep buying their low fat, high sugar foods. They know it'll keep you fat, and addicted.

- The big Gym chains want you to fail so you keep trying, or give up, but keep paying your fees. This is why they give you generic plans that are either ineffective or too hard to follow."

"It's not your fault your investments have failed. The big banks don't care about you making money as long as they make some profit themselves.

They are only interested in themselves so will invest your money at a set fee, take your cash, and lose it."

This allows you to create a common enemy and then...

5. Cast Stones at Their Enemies:

"Stop giving money to the big gyms who aren't interested in your success. Invest in this home workout program and lose weight without wasting money.

Take back control from Big Food Co by eating real, fresh, delicious food that you can prepare at home. Eat healthy and for much less.

Don't let the Fat Corporate Cats steal your success.

It's time to fight back."

"Stop investing your money through standard banks and brokers.

They want to keep you in the dark about your investments. They want you to keep simple, average returns, so they can keep skimming more and more from the top.

Take back control of your investments and stop them from stealing from you.

Start making more money than you ever thought possible and start living the life they've been keeping from you!"

So...

What should you do next?

Go through your marketing messages and identify areas you could improve.

Shape your message to support their dreams and allay their fears.

Confirm their suspicions that something just isn't right.

Tell them it's not their fault and rally them to join the cause in fighting with you against their enemies.

And please, please use this responsibly.

Use this for good.

And let me know how this has helped you and your business!
